Personal Work, 2018-present
I got my ears pierced at 18 and from the get-go hung the most lurid, extravagant pieces to them.
When I realised I could make these objects myself and I was making too many to wear alone, "Acc Makes" was born.
A game changer in my earring practice was when I learnt how to heat press scrap perspex together, reforming it into a new sheet of plastic. The result was composite, colourful, almost stained-glass reminiscent material that could be laser cut again to make new pendants. Plus- zero plastic waste means more sustainable earrings.
